Nova Adult Day Centres is Looking for Volunteers

We Need You

ADC Pamphlet_FINAL_30jan15

The program at the Nova Adult Day Centres, which provides “Friendship and fun for elderly (60 years+) adults with cognitive deficits or degenerative conditions” is a successful and growing concern–very good news. However, with this growing success comes a need for  more volunteers.

Specifically, the centre is currently looking for Activity Monitors on Thursdays and Fridays at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Beaconsfield.  Would you be interested and available to help?

They are also looking for a kitchen helper volunteer on Fridays. The time commitment is about 2 hours per week, and the task is to assist the cooks and help out with dishes as needed. Perhaps you could offer a hand there?

Your help is sincerely appreciated.
